Justin Jackson was working on a major update for his Marketing for Developers product in the summer of 2017. The goal was to relaunch the product in September 2017. Leading up to that date, Justin used ContestKit to bring awareness and grow his list for the launch by running a scratch and win campaign.
Until that time, Justin had never run anything like this before, has never run a giveaway period.
Very quickly he realized how powerful it is to run a giveaway and how much of an impact it has on your audience when they win. This isn't anything new, it's well documented.
The campaign used our Twitter login, which attracted over 700 registrations that scratched over 4,000 scratch cards, which is an average of 5.6 scratches per user or about 2 visits per user.
“ContestKit helped me attract hundreds of new subscribers to my list, but here's the best part: 17% of them ended up buying my product. The return on investment is huge!”
- Justin Jackson
Durning the 2 week campaign, Justin grew his email list by 321 new email subscribers which expandanded his sales reach when it came time for the launch of the new Marketing for Developers product. Once it launched, 54 of the 321 new subscribers made a purchase from Justin netting him over $3,500.
